Ocean Ridge Florida is a small coastal community, only measuring about 0.9 square miles that occupies one of the long narrow barrier islands that run along the coast of Palm Beach County, just east of Boynton Beach. Originally, Ocean Ridge was a part of the Town of Boynton but succeeded in the early 1930’s, shortly thereafter the Town of Boynton changed its name to Boynton Beach. Known for being low-key and low-density, Ocean Ridge sustains a genuine coastal small-town atmosphere ideal for relaxation. Ocean Ridge is one of the few towns that boasts two substantial natural areas: Mangrove Park and the Ocean Ridge Natural Area, which give residents access to the Intracoastal waterway and to great outdoor activities. With all of the best restaurants, shops, and amenities, there is not too much that you won’t find in Ocean Ridge Florida.
